About Us
In partnership with the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, a multi-disciplinary team of primary care physicians, specialists, mid-level practitioners and allied health professionals work together every day to promote the health of the children served through The Hope Institute. Because of the medically complex and sometimes fragile nature of the children served, it’s important that this team be available at all hours of the day and night to deal with any emergency that may arise.
Oral health services are available from a dental hygienist on campus and a team of dedicated providers throughout the community. Occupational, physical, speech and music therapy services, as well as behavioral health services, are important components in helping Hope’s children and youth develop to their full potential.
The recently-opened Noll Medical Pavilion plays an important role in providing care, not just for the children and youth on campus, but also for those with a developmental disability or mental illness throughout Central Illinois. The Children’s Healthcare Partnership at Noll includes:
- The Hope Institute for Children and Families
- The Autism Program of Illinois
- The Children’s Center – Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois
- The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Southern Illinois University School of Medicine
- The Central Illinois Developmental Disability Dental Advisory Commission (CIDDAC)
